WordPress Dashboard referral question

  I was just wondering one thing….

  I seem to get quite a bit of referrals from either “WordPress Dashboard” and today I am getting them from that and “wordpress.com” (without any indication of the tags). For the last few days I have been getting enough hits from the Dashboard to make me think that I am on it. but whenever I click through all the tags I can’t find myself.

  So my question is this: If a person is on the Dashboard, can they see that they are on it? Is the Dashboard customized for each member (which sounds like a logistical nightmare but I can’t see why I am getting all these hits from the Dashboard but can’t find myself there)

  Not a big deal….I was just curious.

  Congratulations! Your Weight Watchers piece is on the wordpress.com main page. I also see your Karnac post on the ‘random’ tags page.

  The Dashboard is their dashboard, not yours. No one can see or access yours.

  so is there a way of knowing how someone got to your blog from the dashboard? sorry if that sounds like a stupid question, but you know what I mean? How would one know whether their blog was under the “top posts” section or “latest posts: or “fastest growing blogs” section? i guess it makes sense to say you could just go look at the dashboard yourself, but i have some referrals from the dashboard and do not see my blog anywhere there.

  If your blog or post is in the top blogs or top posts of the day you should have at least one referral from http://botd.wordpress.com.

  I’ve been getting crap loads of referrers from the wordpress dashboard lately as well. But I don’t see my entry in the dashboard. And it seems they are hits directly to one post. So does everyone have different entries in their dashboard.

  I was wondering the same thing, but it seems everyone coming here has questions, not answers. I get about anywhere from 1 to 10 referrals a day from “WordPress Dashboard,” but have no idea where that is or what it means.
