WordPress Dashboard Referrer

  Today when I went over to look at some pages it listed the WordPress Dashboard as a referrer. I thought visitor counts didn’t include our own views of our blog pages as long as we’re logged in?

  It could be that someone got to your site by clicking the arrow at the right end of their admin bar (grey bar you see at the top of the window when logged in and viewing a site). It will randomly take you to other wordpress.com blogs.

  And wordpress does not count your visits when you are logged in.

  Thank you! That explains it- I’d just never seen it before and thought it was logging my own visits.
