WordPress Dashboard speed and issued updating Betheme/Plug-ins

    Hello! I am a beginner at WordPress and have been struggling will the speed of my website. At first I could hardly load my website and the WordPress dashboard. I then contacted my host for the website and they helped me update my PHP to the new version. This helped the loading of the front end of my website. Now I am struggling with the speed of my WordPress dashboard and have had issues updating my be theme and other plugins. I have tried deactivating and reactivating all my plug-ins, updating WordPress and i need to keep reaching an impassion with what to try to fix next. What do you think I should do next?

    It sounds like you’re talking about a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
