WordPress data wiped

    Hi there, I manage my sisters website Shefishes.com.au
    We have our page hosted via dreamhost.com and she recently got an email warning of their upcoming upgrades and how we would need to update the DNS.
    She did not tell me in time so our usual way of logging in via shefishes.com/login does not work as the link is broken due to the DNS so I had to log in manually through wordpress.com but now I see that all of our data has been wiped? I am a novice at this so this is somewhat out of my field.. but I can’t imagine that a break in the DNS would wipe the information on here entirely, Please help!

    Hi there,

    The domain Shefishes.com.au hasn’t been connected to a WordPress.com site since 2014, and it’s also not registered with us.

    According to the whois data, that domain is registered with NetRegistry and mapped to Dreamhost. To make changes to your domain’s name servers you’ll need to contact NetRegistry, and if any backups of your site still exists those will be with Dreamhost. But we have never had any access to that site, as it’s a completely different site than your WordPress.com site at http://shefishes.wordpress.com/
