To disable autorenew, provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades go to > Store > My Upgrades and click the “disable auto-renew” link.
Also provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you ought to be able to request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received. -
Dear Timethief,
I went to the support section to enter my request for a refund, but am unsure if it will be answered. I request a full refund of my yearly domain renewal because
a) I was not notified of the upcoming renewal
b) The account was inactive for the last year, providing no benefits
c) The WordPress Blog product proved to be way to complex even for a seasoned Internet user such as myself.
d) Please delete my debit card information, I was shocked that it was stored for almost a year. -
Hi Daniel,
Just a note that I’m replying to your original support ticket about this. Apologies for the delay.
Richard
