WordPress Deluxe 1.0. Question about footer.

    I work in a place that uses Word Press Deluxe 1.0. On our page we have a footer that changes color when one hovers over it, from purple to white. Is there a way to either disable the color changing ability, or simply make the hover color the same as the normal color. I already tried going into color settings, but couldn’t find the correct field. I also tried finding the hover color changing ability in the HTML code in order to erase it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
