Hello,
I’m working on starting up a solar company. I’m looking for a platform to create a website and mobile app for my new company. I want a platform that will allow me to integrate my website with a mobile app. I really hope WordPress is the right tool for me and it will allow me to make an online portal for my clients. I would LOVE a call from you guys and a tour guide on exactly what I can do with WordPress. To what extent can I create a website and mobile app with features and different functionaries. Can you guys give me a call to walk me through the different things I can do with WordPress? I read over some documentation and online resources. But I rather talk to a rep about your product and me potentially getting a plan with you guys. I am using Wix right now but it’s very limited so I would like to use a new platform

We do not offer phone support but, if you can tell us what exactly would you like to do on your web we can advise better because you can really do anything on WordPress.com with a correct setup.
For some more advanced features, you will likely need plugins – those are available in plans Business and eCommerce:https://wordpress.com/support/business-plan/
https://wordpress.com/support/ecommerce-plan/One thing you won’t be able to do here is the mobile app – our platform was just not created with apps in mind.
What I recommend is to create a free site and just start playing with it, see what you can do. You can also purchase any plan you’d like to try and, if you’re not happy, you can cancel and obtain a refund within the first 30 days.
The exception would be if you register a custom domain, you could opt for a full refund during the first 96 hours. After that time, we would only refund the cost of the plan minus the cost of the domain.Let me know if you have any more questions regarding that.

I want to create a Online Portal. Where users can login and look at their projects. I want the user to see a progress bar with. Also I want to add a calendar page is that possible? I want the calendar to be interactive. That said, is there a discount for college students?

WordPress.com does not have those capabilities built in, but it may be possible to add that functionality by uploading a 3rd party plugin “designed for WordPress”
