WordPress didn’t autosave or save when I clicked save

  I wrote for 30-40 minutes straight yesterday and saw that wordpress was auto saving and when I needed to go to a meeting I clicked save on the post and left the window open. Today I went back to that page and I had been logged out and when I logged back in nothing I wrote yesterday was saved. All it was was the old paragraphs that I didn’t like and none of the new stuff.
  Where is it? Why was it saving, only not to actually be saved. I am so mad write now.

  Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. Sometimes we’ll see cases where the connection is lost at some point, especially if you’re leaving the computer for extended periods. In cases like that I’d recommend a manual “save draft” then refreshing when you come back to it.
