WordPress DNS does not recognize my own domain

  Hello,

  I’m trying to use my own domain with a WordPress site, but I’m having trouble mapping it.

  I have changed the DNS servers for my domain to WordPress servers:

  $ whois fannypalmen.fi

  domain: fannypalmen.fi
  …
  status: Granted
  created: 14.1.2016
  modified: 21.1.2016
  expires: 14.1.2017
  nserver: ns2.wordpress.com [Technical Error]
  nserver: ns1.wordpress.com [Technical Error]
  nserver: ns3.wordpress.com [Technical Error]
  dnssec: no

  It says ‘technical error’ because the DNS servers are unaware of the domain. Also I can not map it because of the same reason.

  What to do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello,
  According to WordPress.com staff, they need to manually add some domain names with country extensions. That may be the case with your domain so I’ve tagged this for staff’s attention.

  I have added the domain mapping upgrade for fannypalmen.fi to your WordPress.com site. It currently will expire in one week. Please renew before that date in order for Domain Mapping to continue working.
