WordPress – do you purposefully make things difficult?

  Truly – why wouldn’t it be really easy to change the font size on the blog title? I changed my theme and now the title runs across 3 lines. How on earth do you change this? I’ve read people talking about child something or other but really – this is a basic need. Why make this so hard?

  Frustrated. Wish I never moved my content here.

  Each theme is unique, so site titles may appear differently in each one.

  I checked http://misslaursen.wordpress.com/ just now and I see it is currently using the Widely theme. I browsed a little and the blog titles all look good to me. Was there a specific one you needed help with?

  Hi designsimply – First, thank you for replying (even though my post was slightly bratty).

  I previously had my blog on Posterous which I found to be really easy. I blog for fun and miss that plug n play kind of lay out. I ended up changing my current theme so that the title displayed properly.

  My question now is do you (or others) have advice on better themes or plug ins that would make my blog more reader-friendly? I feel it looks drab and I’m not wild about how I’m displaying photos. I typically post 5 or more photos in each blog so I’m using the album feature.

  I used to enjoy blogging as a creative outlet but haven’t been lately because my posts just looks amateur. I will happily take any advice.

  Hi Lisa,

  Have you played with the available themes? There are many great free ones out there, and you can test how they’ll look on your blog with the “Live Preview” button under each one.

  Personally, I’ve started using the “tiled mosaic” option when creating galleries, and it really makes photos look great. The circle option is also fun.

  I think between looking through all of the themes we have and playing with the different gallery options, you’ll really have fun blogging again.
