  My domain expired on WordPress a couple of months ago. I want to reinstate it, but it seems to be still owned by me, despite nothing appearing in my Purchases history. How can I get through to someone on the WordPress Team in person to help with this?

  Your domain, ninazietman.com, expired in February and was removed from our system already in April. It has since been deleted by our registrar and it looks like someone else bought it via Publicdomainregistry.com on 18 June, so that person is now the owner of the domain.

  The message you’re seeing on the Add Domain screen only says the domain already exists. It doesn’t say you are the owner.

  The only way to get that domain back is if the current owner would be willing to sell it back to you. You can reach out to them using the contact info in the Whois data, but if you do please note it will be a private transaction and you’ll be doing it at own risk. We cannot help with the private sale of a domain between two individuals.
