wordpress domain lost access
-
Hello. I have recently deleted a blog https://labelv.wordpress.com/ – because it was still coming up on web searches when I launched my new website. The info on the blog is old so I did not want people to land on the site. The link however still comes up when I search for labelV. I tried to add a 301 redirect on my new website from these pages to the new ones but it does not work. I would like to use the ranking reputation of this blog url, but redirect the pages to my new website.
Can you tell me how I can do that? Although I still have access to my WP account, I can’t find this domain name. Where has it gone and how can I manage it?
Thank you very much for your help

What we see on Google is a cached entry of your site. It will take its own time to move away from there. There is only one way to tell Google to remove it, that is through Google Webmaster Tools. The tool however requires you to verify ownership of the domain / subdomain.
Since the blog has been deleted we cannot do that.To be able to add 301 redirects too you need to be in control of the source URLs which you anyway can’t since its hosted on wordpress.com server, even if the site were to be existing.
