Hi there,
I do not see any upgrades under your @drbridgetdibb WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/
Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? What is the URL of the site associated with the upgrade you are needing help with? Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.

Ok, so we understand correctly, you’re referring to the basic free “.wordpress.com” address for your site? Those are indeed different to domain names and as such they follow different rules.
Deleting a site doesn’t free up the site name – there’s more information about that here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/If you had wanted to empty up the site to use it for something else, you could indeed do that:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/We can restore the site from being deleted, within 30 days of the deletion. Would you like us to do so, in order for you to empty the site and start over? If so, could you confirm the address of the deleted site so we can check up for it?

Hi there:
it is: Bridgetsibb.Wordpress.com
That doesn’t appear to be a valid URL. Did you instead mean bridgetdibb.wordpress.com? If so, we note that when you delete your site, deleting a site permanently removes it, and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address.
But since it was deleted within our 30-day window, we can recover that for you. We just need you to confirm that bridgetdibb.wordpress.com is the site you want to be restored.
Thanks!
