WordPress domain problem

I have a domain thru WordPress. Orderedsteps.co
i tried to use that domain with a squarespace site and it doesn’t work. Also my google workspace cannot send or receive email using that domain. Both google and squarespace support say that there is a problem with the domain host. Square says it’s an SOA that’s missing and google says the DNS is not correct. When I log into WordPress and click on my domain it looks like all the dns settings are correct. Can someone help me please! (email visible only to moderators and staff)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there, @tompetroski , right now, orderedsteps.co uses name servers provided by Squarespace. Are you adding the necessary records on their side, or do you intend to use our name servers?

I had followed the steps that Squarespace gave me for all DNS entries. I also followed the steps provided by google for my MX entries. Both Squarespace and google support said that the domain was missing an SOA entry, so their servers could not point to it. They (Squarespace) suggested that I transfer my domain, but I have to wait since it was just registered. I was hoping that I could keep it registered at WordPress….
Here is the response I got from Squarespace about my website not working:
Thank you for reaching out to us. I’d be happy to help you out today.
It looks like your domain provider hasn’t assigned an SOA record to your domain. SOA records store important information about a domain. Services like Squarespace sometimes need to read these records before they can scan your domain for other DNS records, like the ones necessary to connect your domain to your Squarespace site.
We recommend contacting your domain provider so they can assign an SOA record to your domain. After they help you add one, you should be able to connect your domain as expected. As a reference, we detail how to connect a third-party domain here:Right now, when I try to access my domain DNS settings from either WordPress, Squarespace, or google, it says “domain info unavailable”.
I don’t know what an SOA entry is, but apparently Squarespace needs one. Any help appreciated!

Can you switch the name servers back to ours then, so that any records we have will be reflected there?

Yes, what settings do I use? And will I be able to ever get Squarespace site active with my WordPress domain? Will you be able to help with the SOA request from Squarespace?

We can’t add any records to Squarespace’s DNS, but we can absolutely sort things out on our side if you’re you’re our name servers. I see you’ve switched over; please leave them like that until we update you otherwise.
I’m trying to sort out why you’re missing the SOA — is there any chance you deleted it? If so I’ll want to pass that along to the domains team so they’ll know.

OK. Now that you’re using our name servers again, it seems the correct site is loading for me. Just a private Squarespace site.
To me, this suggests there was something up with the DNS settings on that side, but if they believe it’s a registrar issue, are you able to transfer the domain to them once the domain is 60 days old? As long as they accept incoming transfers for .co domains, here’s how to go about it.

And (sorry to forget to include this) I’d recommend keeping the domain on our name servers until then, if you can, or until they sort out what was happening there. I hope this helps.
