WordPress domain renewal

I’m getting emails from WordPress.com telling me that my domain is about to expire. I do not want to upgrade, but these renewal emails give me no option to renew my domain without upgrading, and I have no contact option other than this public forum. How can I renew my domain without upgrading? Please help

I would be happy to assist you in renewing your subscription without having to upgrade. However, the reason you do not have that option is because the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. Until recently, you were able to renew an upgrade that was under your account, but now only the owner of the upgrade can. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into renewing the subscription upgrade. However, you should be able to renew the domain if logged into the account that owns the upgrade.

Just wondering if you know whether this has to do with my hosting? Because I am on the free wordpress plan, and this is really confusing to me since I don't think I ever purchased an upgrade. I'm so confused :-(. My domain expires in two weeks so I'm trying to resolve this.

Hi there,
So the email in which you are receiving the emails from us most likely does not match the email under the account from which you are contacting us form. If you log into an account that matches the email you receive an email from us, it should have the upgrade that you are referring to.
If you do not remember the account, please provide me the email that you receive our email from and I can find the upgrade for you and see what we can do to get you into your account. No one but me will be able to see the email in this forum.

I checked and found the account associated with the email you provided. If you still have access to the email connected to the account, you can enter that email address in the password recovery tool. Please check your spam folder for the recovery email if you don’t receive it in your inbox immediately:

Hi Again,
I didn’t receive an email, and I did check the spam folder. So the email connected to my WordPress account must be incorrect. I have only two active emails: (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff). Is there any way to fix this?

Hi there,
Your account is definitely under the live email.
What I can do is personally e-mail the address associated with the account so that you can check and see which of your two emails receives the message. All you would need to do is respond from that e-mail to verify ownership. Then, I will definitely be able to assist you in regaining access.

Hi again,
I don’t have any problems with my password, I can easily get into my account. However, there is no option there for me to renew my domain, and it expired yesterday. I received another email today to renew, but I honestly don’t know how to do that.

Hi, Yes, that’s where it takes me, however, once there, there is no option to renew unless I want to upgrade. Here is what I get:
