WordPress domain – Weebly content
-
I see several questions about this, but with conflicting advice –
I want my Weebly site on a domain I purchased through WordPress – Weebly gives me the message below about directing to their ip addresses – Some WP staff have just fixed up the problem – others are saying I’ll need to find a new DNS host that does allow access to A records. I’d rather not have to shop around, so how about a little behind the scenes help?the domain is http://www.rpmcomics.com

I originally built my website on WordPress, but have decided to switch to Weebly. I need my domain name moved from WordPress to Weebly.I need to point my domain to their servers. Can you set this up for me or walk me through the process of making these changes? I need to create A-Records for “www” and for my root domain. That’s one record for “www” pointing to 199.34.228.100. And one record for the root domain pointing to 199.34.228.100.
If you need more info on these changes, please see:

If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/#update-nameservers

This replay by staff-blorbo one of the Staff might also help a bit – mapping to a different outside host but sounds like a similar issue
