WordPress domain's migration to a subdomain
-
To whom it might concern:
I want to migrate my wordpress page (which expired two months ago) to one of my website’s subdomain. I could only find that there is the option of export the content of my blog to a XML format. How can I use this format to build the new website? Is there any other option to copy the content of my wordpress and adding it to the new website?
Thank you!

Hi there,
The XML export option is all we provide at this point, and would include yous pages, posts, user settings, and other text data. To make your selfhosted site the same as the one you have here though would require getting a web host, and installing WordPress as well as the theme and reconfiguring all widgets.
Also, though the XML file does not include any of the images or other media in your pages/posts, there is an option to bring those over during the import process.
If that seems like too much trouble, you may also want to consider our Guided Transfer, which will handle all of that for you.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
