WordPress editor doesn´t work

I built my company website in 2016 using YOU template after I’ve updated PHP and all plugins and know I can’t edit the website. Could someone from WordPress explain how ir it possible it doesn’t support any editor to edit the website? Why doesn’t WordPress have a customer support team to help their customers? is it because the template I bought never got updated and it’s not compatible with the latest PHP version and all plugins I have installed. Basically, the website is all deconfigured and the visual editor doesn’t show any images not to say that before updating all WordPress I could upload and replace any of the images or access the media library. Do I have to buy a new template or build a new website from scratch?

  • The site you are referring to appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on an outside web hosting company, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

To clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only the ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.

You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here: http://wordpress.org/support/

You may also wish to contact your host’s support team for more assistance.

Hope that points you in the right direction!
