wordpress editor not working in firefox

wordpress editor stopped working in firefox (not aware of changing any firefox settings) but works ok in chrome. I disabled all firefox extensions, cleared all cookies, etc. but that didn’t help. I was using firefox without any problems one day and the next time I logged in to almanac2010.wordpress.com the editor was not loading anymore. When I select a post for editing the title will be displayed at the top but not the body of the post nor the buttons for the editing functions. Everything else seems normal except the “help” and “screen options” tabs at top right of some screens also seem inactive.

Are you using AdBlock? If so disable it.

For those who wish to keep AdBlock Plus enabled, just disable the individual rule for “-ads/” in the Filter Preferences in the Settings for this Add-on.

If you were affected by the AdBlock issue, this should be fixed now, so please feel free to try again after clearing your browser’s cache.
If you disabled Adblock to get around this, you should be able to safely re-enable it now.
Even if you weren’t using AdBlock, this fix may have resolved your problems, so please try again after clearing your browser’s cache too.
