wordpress error

  Hi I am having a problem with a regular error coming up that says ‘Sorry you do not have permission to access this page’ I have seen threads here before with the same issue but the replies are like talking to me in a foreign language. Can anyone help?

  Are you seeing that error here on WordPress.com, or in the WP-Admin dashboard of your site?

  That error usually means you have a user role other than Administrator on the site, meaning you don’t have access to certain settings and features.

  However, your site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, so we have no way to tell your user role on that site, nor any way to help you change it.

  If you’re not the owner of the site, please contact the owner so they can check on your user role.
