WordPress error in system caused my site to be hidden from search engines
-
Hello. Its been over 3 months i created my wordpress blog. in fact i created 2 wordpress blogs. Just now today i received a message from word press quote ‘ Howdy, We recently discovered that an error in our system caused your site travelamericablog , to be hidden from search engines by default.
We’ve updated travelamericablog for you so that search engines can now find it and include it in search results.’
So, i always had my settings to allow my blog to be view able in search engines. But because of wordpress error, it was hidden so far and word pressnever informed me about it. Can you please explain me why? Is this the way wordpress function? i am very dissatisfied and unhappy about it. -
The same thing happened to me, so it sounds like this has been a problem for at least a few WordPress users. I find it extremely unprofessional that they’d send those emails without even an apology.
I suggest contacting support and asking them to provide you with a free custom domain name or some other upgrade.
