WordPress fails when adding widgets
-
Hello there :)
I’ve been trying to add the twitter and delicious widget to one of the footer bars of my blog (link below), and when hitting “Save”, WP.com prompts a white screen with the text “are you sure you want to do this?” and a link that takes me back to the widgets screen.
At first I thought it was caused by a problem with my accounts on those services (see below for details), but then I tried to add a simple text widget with links, and got the same error. Tried without links and once again the same. I happens whenever I hit the Save button. The trick is, if I don’t press it, the widget won’t be added.
Didn’t happen when adding the “Archives widget”, it was added automatically without having to press Save.
What’s going on?
Note 1: my blog is julitros.wordpress.com
Note 2: about the twitter widget. Will it work if my tweets are protected?
Note 3: about the delicious widget. Will it work if I have a delicious account based on a yahoo account login (i.e, i enteer my delicious account via logging in on yahoo). Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

2. If your tweets are protected then showing them on your blog would sort of defeat the purpose wouldn’t it? I expect that when your tweets are protected then wordpress cannot get them, or even if they could they would not show them.
3. I have no idea. This might be something only staff can answer: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ .

In response to #3:
I have a Delicious account through my Yahoo! ID as well. Yes, it works on the Delicious widget, but you need to enter your actual “delicious login” in the appropriate box (usually the portion AFTER http://www.delicious.com in the URL to view your bookmarks). -
Thanks to both of you, I’ve contacted the support guys to see if they can help me :)
@thesacredpath: you’re right about that, but I use the tweet protection more as a way to check who’s trying to add me and allow/deny. In any case, putting protected tweets in a public blog is not something that a widget should do :)
I’ll report back with any info I get from support.
Cheers!

Ok so, now all of a sudden, I can edit widgets, and WP won’t crash when hitting Save. But when I visit the blog, it won’t show the updated sidebars, no mattar how many times I F5 or Ctrl+F5 the page.
I’ll wait some hours, I hope this situation passes soon.
