WordPress feed displaying on Android mobile phones
-
Hello,
I’ve been told that the reason that my WP feed is not displaying properly on Android mobile phones is because of <dc:creator>xxxxxxxxxx </dc:creator>. Apparently, this is preventing the title of each article to show the xxxxxxx title instead of the summary title of the article.
Example:
This is what is currently display on Androids:
News
>Campus News & Events
xxxxxxxxxxxx (dc:creator)
Jan. 12, 2011 5d 12h 38m agoThis is what should display
News
>Campus News & Events
Nursing Graduation
Jan. 12, 2011 5d 12h 38m agoIs there a way to change the <dc:creator>? I’m using WP.com.
Hopefully, this makes sense…we using Datatel MOX.
Thanks,
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If it is the app written by WordPress then you need to inquire over at http://android.forums.wordpress.org/
-
It is actually a third-party app for higher education use. The issue could be with WordPress, or it could be with datatel’s implementation of RSS, or perhaps a little of both.

Thank you both for your response. According to the Datatel representative the problem is the <dc:creator> tag. Yet, our IT thinks it may be the <media:title type=”html”>.
I will try posting my question in the android.forums as suggested.
Thanks again.
