WordPress feed not validating

  my blog is meterdown.wordpress.com. my feed is http://meterdown.wordpress.com/feed/
  when I run it thru Feed Validator, it tells me that my feed does not validate. The error messages that come back are:

  # line 2, column 0: The prefix “media” generally is associated with the namespace “http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/” [help]

  # line 205, column 0: type attribute of enclosure must be a valid MIME type (63 occurrences) [help]

  ^

  do I have to remove the files from the hotlink site and only use wordpress? but some are validating and this one isnt.

  how can I fix my feed?

  My feed is also doing this. Had to switch over to Feedburner.

  how did you do that? when i burn the wordpress feed in feedburner, that feed also doesnt validate, with the same error msgs.

  i burned another feed in feedburner using just meterdown.wordpress.com and not referencing the wordpress feed but it still find it. then i tried to validate that one. It also wouldnt validate. exact same messages. i am deleting this new feed.

  what do i need to do to fix this?

  how did you ‘burn’ this feed in feedburner and it worked?

  i have always had a feedburner feed burned from the wordpress feed.

  I’m having this same issue.
  ERROR:

  It has something to do with the final / but in reading the forums, I am lost as how to fix. I don’t see it in the html view.

  IN FEEDBURNER, same issue and another one:
  In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendation.

  line 12, column 153: Self reference doesn’t match document location [help]
  … heGoddess” type=”application/rss+xml” /><item> ^

  I’m determined to learn this stuff yet!
