  i downloaded the current version of wordpress for my laptop and it said i cant open it because there is a file missing on my laptop what do i do to fix this?

  Hi,

  There is only one version of WordPress.com available for members. And it can’t be downloaded. Are you referring to a version of WordPress.org? This forum is for issues regarding WordPress.com accounts and websites. There are separate forums for WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/support/.

  no i am reffering the the latest version number just the recent update for the desktop one for wordpress.com
