WordPress forces dashboard colour change

Found out about the theme change when my dashboard went a horrible pink colour, I contacted support as i thought there was something wrong with my dashboard. I was informed by support that it is a FORCED change by the “designers” (who blogged about it on the day they pushed it out).

This even effects the support chat window as my comments were on a pink background with white writing. I was told that i could change it back using the Classic Blue theme in settings BUT it is not the same as it was, but sadly the “designers” do not seem to have communicated that part to the support guys. In the current day stats bar is not orange and they have used a darker blue so the whole thing looks depressingly dull and gray (looks like a colour scheme that would be used to indicate a webpage is offline).

The “designers” should have offered this change as an option and not forced it, there are a lot of people who do not like this change, or that whey were not offer a choice.
