WordPress Free Didn’t Get Absorbed by Full URL

    Hello,

    I recently created a free account to be able to import this into my existing hosting plan. The WordPress blog I made is called ‘kenpiercemedia’ and now I see the hosted one AND the original free one. The stats didn’t seem to transfer to the posts either. Can anyone help me with this? I don’t want brand confusion as I should only have the hosted one at kenpiercemedia.com being visible. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you

    Hi there,

    Can you tell us a little more about what you are trying to set up? You are trying to migrate stats between two of your sites? Can you tell us:

    – the address of the site you want stats moved from
    – the address of the site you want stats moved to

    The whole creation in WordPress is new for “Ken Pierce Media”. I created kenpiercemedia.wordpress.com a few days ago and then added my new URL for kenpiercemedia.com to my current hosting plan. So now I have a proper kenpiercemedia.com running on their server and powered by WordPress. I did this quick since I didn’t want to lose much but there are some stats I’d like moved if possible. My next big project is importing the Tumblr posts into this new domain. My question is shouldn’t the original kenpiercemedia.wordpress.com go away? I don’t want brand confusion as this was aimed at helping me. Thanks so much.

    Well, you can either delete that site or make it private so no one but you can view it. You can find more information in the links below.

    Thanks. OK so now I am more clear that I can delete the duplicate but can I get the small amount of statistics migrated over to the new launch? Every little bit helps after all. Thanks for the insight. So as pointed out anything to kenpiercemedia.wordpress to kenpiercemedia.com
