WordPress froze while creating my blog and now the domain name is unavailable

  I just created a new wordpress site and I went through the whole process to get to the final loading screen and then it froze halfway. I went to my wordpress account and I have no blog under that name and it now won’t let me create it anymore as it says the name is unavailable even though it isn’t! Please help! I made another blog to test it and that worked fine but I really want the original name I was after!! Thank you

  Hi– I don’t have an answer for you, sorry! But something similar just happened to me today! I wrote a Page, previewed it and after i hit Publish, the Page was saved but the blog is gone. I went to the host (Bluehost) and that domain folder is empty!

  @cococrin – twirl.moda is hosted by bluehost. You’ll need to contact them directly for assistance. These are the forums for sites hosted by WordPressdotcom (the hosted version.)

  @mashumarogames have you tried logging out of WordPressdotcom, clearing your browser cache and cookies and then logging back in? Alternately did you try logging in with a different browser?
