WordPress functions

Hello! A friend and I are interested in your services but need answers to a few questions, thank you in advance for your time.

    1) Would it be possible for people to create a profile to sell their own services? (much like Fiverr.com).

    2) If so, will we be able to set up a payment system which allows us to automatically take one share of the payment while the seller takes one?

    3) Is a chat system between buyer and seller possible?

    4) A report/block system.

    5) Could we set up a review/rating system which makes it so that the most popular seller appears first when you search for a service?

    6) Would the site remain stable with these functions?

    7) In regards to the eCommerce plan, it says that you get ‘unlimited products and services’ for your store. What is the limit for the other plans? Would this affect what we’ve described? (e.g how many sellers we would be able to have on our site).

    8) Can we switch plans during our subscription?

    9) With our questions in mind, which of your plans do you think does the job for the smallest cost? And do you offer a money back guarantee?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi adawin333,

Would it be possible for people to create a profile to sell their own services? (much like Fiverr.com).

This sort of functionality would need to be added with custom plugins, which are supported on the Business plan and above.

If so, will we be able to set up a payment system which allows us to automatically take one share of the payment while the seller takes one?

The WooCommerce Product Vendors extension would give you the option to take a commission on sales generated through the site:

    https://woocommerce.com/products/product-vendors/

Is a chat system between buyer and seller possible?

That’s something you would need to use custom plugins for. WooCommerce has a LiveChat extension and you can also search for other options from My Site > Tools > Plugins (activating a plugin won’t be possible without a plan though).

    A report/block system.

Another feature you would need to use custom plugins for :)

Could we set up a review/rating system which makes it so that the most popular seller appears first when you search for a service?

WooCommerce offers the option to enable reviews on individual products, which include a star rating and comment.

Would the site remain stable with these functions?

WooCommerce will work with WordPress.com. If you decide to use third party plugins, it’s the plugin authors responsibility to ensure they are compatible with our platform.

Can we switch plans during our subscription?

You can cancel, upgrade or downgrade a plan at any time but just bear in mind downgrading to a lower plan may mean you lose certain features. For example, downgrading from Business to Premium means WooCommerce and custom plugins would no longer be supported.

Upgrading plans means you would only pay the difference between the two.

With our questions in mind, which of your plans do you think does the job for the smallest cost?

I think the Business plan should do what you are looking for but I recommend having a look through the features each one provides:

And do you offer a money back guarantee?

We have a 30 day refund period for plans and 48 hours for custom domains:

    Manage Your Purchases

    I hope this helps!
