wordpress godaddy hosted site vs wordpress blog site privileges.

  Okay so I purchased my domain from Godaddy.com and it came with wordpress hosting.
  but while using this hosting I cant follow other wordpress blogs or comment on other blogs as me. how can I have the same privileges as a wordpress.com blog user? would I just have to pay to map my domain and remove the other wordpress managed hosting?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
