wordpress group displays, alternately, as text list /or/ full graphics ??

one wordpress group I visit, and have posted to, is sometimes displayed as a “text list”… a list of messages, with thumbnail graphics… or… as forum page, each article having full graphics. Ive gotten both results using the same wordpress forum or group.
Preference wise, I prefer the “text list” appearance… many more posts fits on a page… however… Im posting to ask if there is a switch
to control how the page will appear ? As it is, it just occurs randomly, switching to text list or graphics with no apparent reason. Anyone else seeing this ?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

unfortunately, there are no “active links”… this occurs on any wordpress
forum I view… sometimes displayed as text list, sometimes as full graphics. Sorry I wasnt clear on that point. -
There no message boards, forums or wikis that you can embed into a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You must be referring to a WordPress.ORG install. For clarity read > WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org: The Differences

not my question… this occurs with ordinary blog pages. Since I posted this question, the blog I was reading changed from list with thumbnails to full graphic display. Who ya gonna call ? :-)
Maybe someone reading this will know the answer. I dont.
