WordPress has an incorrect timestamp

    In my blog posts and in my stats, the wordpress time is 4 hours ahead of my time. This is extremely frustrating, as my statistics are incorrect and oftentimes, it says my blog posts are posted before they actually are because my wordpress thinks it’s 4 hours ahead of what it really is. How do I fix this?

    Hi there,
    You can reset your date and timezone.

    The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.

    If you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog this is what you see here

    Choose a city in the same timezone as you.

    Then go to > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts
    hover over the title of your published posts one at a time and click the “edit” link so you can chnage them as well.

    Click the Edit link in the Publish module and you will be able to change the datestamp and timestamp on posts you have already published. Then click “update”.
