WordPress has the wrong domain name. Can't change to correct it.

    I planned to buy a 2nd domain name but before I did my roommate changed my domain name to the new one in the general settings and now it is broken and I can’t go in to correct it.

    Correct:
    shelalasadventures.com

    Incorrect:
    sh3lalasadventures.com

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    WordPress.COM
    You are using
    WordPress.ORG

    Our platform is different so our answers will not apply to your problem.
    Lots of folks don’t realize there are different flavors of WordPress, so for starters here are some details:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    You can find help here: http://wordpress.org/

    At the bottom of your site you’ll see “Proudly powered by WordPress” so you’ll always have that link handy when you need it. Note: you’ll have to sign up there with a different username and password from the one you are using here.

    Hi 1tess,

    Thanks for trying to help but my site is on wordpress.com. It is hosted by Bluehost. I have tried to reach bluehost to see what they can do on their end but no one is answering the phone. I made a setting change in wordpress though so I think something has to be done on the backend.

    Hi Sheila,

    Please read the links I gave you above.

    When you say this, “It is hosted by Bluehost.” that means you are not hosted here on wordpress.COM for FREE. You are paying Bluehost to get your site online while using free software from wordpress.ORG. That is definitely a different platform from what we can help you with in these forums.

    WordPress.ORG has its own forums so you must sign up there, using the link at the bottom of your site:
    Proudly powered by WordPress

    As I explained, our platform here is very different from the one you are using.
