There’s a sticker I re-created on that page. Once zooming in that sticker is floating* out to the far left. Once zooming out it floats to the right. Any help appreciated.2. https://thevinylmachine.wordpress.com/
How can I remove the last block on this site. It still says ‘Bearbeite’ implying for an empty block. but once removed I still see it appearing there…Thanks!

I notice that this is created with HTML, so I’m wondering if a tweak of this HTML might solve the problem.

Hey,
thanks for trying to help out.
1 and 2 are different links.1 I mean this frame in particular (https://ibb.co/WtXx06G). It moves back and forth while zooming in/out. And yes, all HTML. But no clue on how to stop it from floating around.
2 I meant this https://ibb.co/VQKFYw3 – it’s right on my “front page” down below.
Thanks!

Hello there,
Many thanks for that additional information.
1. I’ve created a private post to play around with the HTML, this is called Sticker test.
I’ve tweaked the margins in the first div to: margin: 0 auto;
<div style="border-style:solid;border-color:#000000;border-width:2px;background-color:#00000;width:150pt;float:none;margin: 0 auto;">This will keep the sticker in the middle.
2. Ah ok, this is the Edit link. This can’t be removed, however, it’s only visible to you, when you are logged in.
I hope this helps.

I’ve changed in my original post like you told me and this is the result.
https://thevinylmachine.wordpress.com/2021/01/09/we-lost-the-sea-departure-songs-11/A sticker that floats right side of the text. I knew margin: 0 isn’t working, so I tried “margin-lefting” it to where it should be (which seemed inducing the float left/float right issue).
Any other idea?

Thanks for the update!
We are limited to the amount of CSS support we can provide for custom HTML code, so there’s not much more direction we can provide here.
However, I think you might have another option here and using graphics software to create your sticker rather than using HTML. You could even save a sticker “template” that you can reuse. Then, you would use the Image Block to insert your sticker and center it using the built in align option.
If you have Photoshop, that would work, otherwise there are free options like GIMP and Vectr that you can also use to create these stickers.
I hope that helps!

I think it’s a cool idea to re-create these stickers and a fun challenge doing it with HTML. Am I using CSS on this? I’m still pretty much of a noob in this and get a lot of stuff done by constant trial-and-error approaches.
Can you just explain to me why it’s moving? I (and someone else who is quite an expert in wordpressing) have experienced quite a lot with this and haven’t figured out a way to get the sticker in that middle position.
I know changed back with margin-left / margin-top, but it’s again floating around while zooming in / out. You really can’t help me with this other than pointing me to completely different methods I have even less experience with than wordpress?

CSS customizations like this are beyond the scope of what we can provide here: https://wordpress.com/support/css-support/
If you need additional CSS customization assistance, you might want to consider hiring a developer: https://wordpress.com/support/working-with-a-developer/

I don’t see why this is such a big thing to ask. To me (correct me if I’m wrong) it seems like a minor problem for a mediocre experienced dude be able to fix.
Regardless. Thanks to aleone89 for – at least – trying to help me out.
