WordPress Homepage Loads Slowly Despite Optimization Plugins

  Hi everyone,

  I’m running into an issue with my WordPress site where the homepage is loading noticeably slower than the rest of the site, even though I’ve installed caching and optimization plugins like WP Rocket and Autoptimize.

  Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Minified CSS/JS and enabled lazy loading
  • Optimized images with ShortPixel
  • Used a CDN (Cloudflare)
  • Disabled unused plugins and themes
  • Tested speed with GTmetrix and PageSpeed Insights

  The weird thing is that other pages on the site perform decently, but the homepage consistently gets the worst scores. I suspect it might have something to do with a plugin or maybe a layout element added through Elementor.

  Has anyone dealt with something like this? Any insights into what could be slowing down just the homepage specifically?
