WordPress hosted sites, how do they compare?

  I’ve been with several different hosting providers from ipage to Hostgator and few in between. I’ve hosted only WordPress sites on my hosting accounts and speed has always been an issue. How does a paid WordPress package plan compare to some of these hosting company’s? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I assume you were using shared hosting on all the above mentioned hosting.
  Those shared hosting are very generic type of hosting built for many different types of platform keeping in mind.

  Wordpress.com hosting is specifically made for wordpress installation only.

  I dont know that, But its damn fast as all wordpress plan are powered with jetpack which helps to boost your site performance.
  You can also try wordpress for free with free wordpress.com plan.

  Site load up time totally depends on themes images & plugins you use.
