  I saw recently that you were offering free transfer for domains being sold from Google to Square I think it was and it got me to thinking. My domain, DAWMiX.com is hosted by IONOS. I have a WordPress site running on it. I also have a free site on WordPress.

  Given I pay for my domain, I am wondering since I am a WordPress user, if I would be better off paying WordPress to just host my domain and how that might change the way my sites work (thoughtmotivator.Wordpress.com and DAWMiX.com) and how much this would cost annually and what benefits it may have.

  Hey @actualccb, glad you asked! And thanks for your patience here. I want to be sure I understand fully — are you hoping to start hosting DAWMiX.com here in addition to the free site? Or are you combining the two somehow?

  If you’re looking to move DAWMiX.com here as a separate site, I see you’re using a theme that’s included on our services. Are you running any extra plugins or outside code on that site?

  From what I can see, it looks like it would work well with a Personal or Premium plan, depending on what features you need. If you need to use outside code or themes, you’d need the Business Plan for that.

  The Personal plan is great if you don’t need a lot of extra customization. The Business Plan is extremely flexible with outside plugins and themes allowed. And Premium hits a nice balance between simplicity and customizability. All of them give you our extremely fast and stable managed hosting and let you connect a domain. All three have some monetization / private content options built in. And Premium and Business add more features from there.

  Bear in mind, if you migrate the domain here too, you’ll also pay its renewal fees each year. And you can see domain pricing here. If you started with Personal and migrated a .com domain, you’d pay $48 for the first year with the domain promotion, then $60 after that.
