WordPress hosting on godaddy
-
Hello, I have a website that I have created with godaddy.com and I need ‘woo commerce’ functionality. I have found that godaddy does provide ‘wordpress hosting’ and I would like to know if i will be able to get all of the functionality that I will need.
My site is an online art gallery that sells prints in different sizes and mediums. I use Gelato to create and ship the prints and I have seen on the gelato site that woo commerce is supported. So my question is: If I pay for the wordpress hosting option, will I be able to add products directly to my godaddy site?

Hi there,
Since you already have a hosting plan with GoDaddy, there’s no need for an additional hosting plan from us at WordPress.com. GoDaddy’s WordPress hosting plan allows you to add plugins such as WooCommerce.
WooCommerce is a wonderful choice for your online store as it’s designed to work seamlessly with WordPress. And yes, Gelato does indeed integrate with WooCommerce, allowing you to connect your store directly with Gelato’s print-on-demand services. This way, you can manage your products and orders all in one place.
Now, as for WordPress.com, we’re a different hosting provider, but we do specialize in WordPress and WooCommerce-based websites. As it happens, both WordPress.com and WooCommerce are creations of the same company, Automattic. If you ever consider switching hosts, we would be delighted to have you onboard. We offer dedicated support for both WordPress and WooCommerce, ensuring a hassle-free experience as you build and manage your online store.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have more questions or if there’s anything else you’d like to know. We’re here to help.
