WordPress Hosting Question…

I have a question…
Importing a WP theme from Envato. WP explains that I must first purchase the WP Business Hosting to import this custom theme. Is there a work-around to this cost? Can I simply host through Envato and gain access to the backend from there?
Just asking before I leap into an over cost scenario. My last website was built entirely in HTML5, so this issue never surfaced.

To use a custom WordPress theme on your WordPress.com site, you will need a WordPress.com Business plan. Custom themes are not supported on other WordPress.com plans and you can check that here. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Note that WordPress.com plans are covered under a 30 days refund window. If you do not find a WordPress.com plan working for you, you can cancel and request a refund as mentioned on this page. https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/
Alternatively, you can consider making a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site. To do so, visit https://wordpress.org/
You can learn the differences between a WordPress.com site and self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
I hope this helps. Feel free to get back if you have questions and I will be keen on helping you through it!

Hi there,
You can’t host anything with Envato, as Envato is a marketplace for WordPress themes, not a hosting provider.
To use that theme on WordPress.com will require the Business Plan. There is no way around this, as we only allow uploading of third party themes on that plan:
Your other option is to find a hosting provider and set up your site using the open source WordPress.org software instead. Then your site will not be on WordPress.com, but with whichever hosting provider you choose, but you’ll still need to pay that provider for hosting costs, even if the WordPress software you install on their servers is free. You can find more information on that option here:
