wordpress identity

Some of the blogs I comment on require comments to be posted using my wordpress identity, as they’ve been having troll trouble. So I write my (sometimes quite long) comment, enter my identity, click “post”, and get a window which says “You do not own that identity.”

    WTF?

It happened just now on a blog. I was signed in to wordpress from a couple of minutes before. And of course, my comment was consigned to the bin. (Grrr) How can I be told I don’t own my identity? Why? And how do I stop it happening in the future? It’s happened to me several times in the past, too.

I must be doing something wrong somewhere, but I don’t know what!

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.
