WordPress Import is still processing after 24h

  I was trying to import a WordPress XML export from another blog but it is still processing for more than 24 hours.

  I’d like to cancel the import since now I discovered the XML format was wrong (some images were pointing to the wrong addresses in the XML).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I just tried once more this morning. This time I took the original export file, which should be fine, and deleted any categories, media and existing posts in my blog. It is still processing and no new posts are being created. I’m not sure this is working.

  Just FYI, I did try to import a similar file to the same blog a few days ago. It worked instantly, but I didn’t like the results so I manually deleted all posts by then. Could this be causing some conflicts with the new imports? If you want, you can wipe all data from my blog if this is going to fix the issue.

  Yes, it’s from Typepad.

  @roygirltheelder the file you used doesn’t look like a Typepad export file. Perhaps you could try to export it once more from your Typepad site.

  That’s the file that Typepad support gave me: their system refused to do the auto-export from my end, so that’s what they sent to me.
