  Hi:

  I have a somewhat similar problem: I have had a WP site for years. I add and delete photos with impunity. That is until last weekend. Now I can only load already imported photos to ‘new site pages’ that are already stored in the Library… no new photos from ‘outside of the site’ can be imported. Any ideas about what is happening?

  Hi hodaadelaide,

  The importer got stuck during your import — sorry about that! I just reset your site’s importer so you can try that import again. Please let me know if you continue to have trouble with it. :)

  @bibblewink — As I mentioned in another thread where you posted about this issue, please start a new forum thread with your question. When you post your issue as a reply in a forum thread about an unrelated issue, it gets confusing and can prevent the original poster from getting timely help with their own issue.

  I have a slightly different problem with importation. I am considering migrating from ipower.com to wordpress.com, but so far when I export my WordPress blog from my ipower site, then import to WordPress, it does not import my photos, even if I am only importing a few posts. If I were to switch to WordPress and delete my cancel my ipower account, my posts would all have no photos.

  If you click the photo, you will find it is on my ipower site, not wordpress. This is what is keeping me from moving to WordPress.com.
