WordPress import still ‘running’ but no import being done

    I’m trying to import from a self-hosted WordPress site. When I run the importer here on WordPress.com, I get the notification that the import is running, but I haven’t selected an import to…import. I think this might be stuck from a previous import attempt. How do I get the import to stop running so I can start with the updated import file?

    Hi elsnarkistani,

    The importer on sunnyinkabul.wordpress.com appears to have stalled. I’ve reset it for you so please clear your browser cache, refresh the page and trying running the import again.

    15MB is the maximum supported file size — it would be worth double checking your .xml file isn’t any larger than that.
