WordPress Importer stuck on "Success! File uploaded"

  I’m setting up a WordPress.com website.

  I’m using the WordPress importer, to import xml files exported from a previous WordPress website.

  When I imported the .xml with the old website’s Pages everything went fine.

  But then I uploaded the .xml for the Posts of that old website (34 posts, 40 drafts).
  It seemed to upload fine, but then it seemed to get stuck on the message “Success! File uploaded.”

  I checked and there were no Posts imported.
  I’ve changed browsers, emptied cache and still nothing.
  I don’t now if this is something that I have to wait a day to work again, or if WordPress.com’s own Importer is broken and needs a hard reset in some way.

  I don’t know what to do.
  Can someone tip me in the right direction?
  (Seems that this can only be solved by the WordPress.com team)
