wordpress install in root and sub directory folder

  I have this site
  http://www.hetgewildewesten.nl new install

  I want to have the old site for archive purposes in a sub directory

  http://www.hetgewildewesten.nl/Oldy

  I have only used wp-content from the old site and installed a new install and 2 different database
  All went well
  I can log in the admin but the Oldy is blank, my fear is that if I install a network via the old admin I compromise the new site in the root directory.
  I could not find any help in other forums.

  I really need somebody to help me considering that I do not have a full understanding of how WP works

  Please any help?

  I’m afraid you’re in the wrong forum. This support forum is only for free WordPress.com blogs. You appear to have a self-hosted WordPress.ORG install. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
