WordPress installation stuck forever and not able to cancel it

    Wordpress is showing ‘Installation in progress’ — ‘preparing your wordpress installation’ with two gear wheels constantly running and not doing anything for more than 24 hours. So I am not able to start WordPress because of this. The following URL shows the installation pop-up and stuck there—- ‘https://yoursmarthome.in/wp-admin/index.php?page=siteground-wizard’

    I’m afraid that, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Siteground.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
