Hey Paula!
In order to use those items, you will need to self-host your site on a non-WordPress.com server.
This guide will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
If you’d like assistance moving your WordPress.com site to WordPress.org, we have a service called Guided Transfer that does all the work for you. Check it out to see if it’s right for you:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/
That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)

Hi dear!
Thank you for your help.
Two doubts about Guided Transfer:
1. if you can help me installing the OptimizePress plugin (the reason I will have to move to wordpress.org)?
2. We have hostgator host in Brazil. Can I use them? Is the same as the US, but with the support and everything else in Portuguese.Cheers,
Paulathanks,

Hi there, Paula!
To answer your questions about Guided Transfer:
- You will have to install the plugin on your own, but we have some very clear documentation about how to do that:
https://guidedtransfer.wordpress.com/about/after/plugins/
The developer who created the plugin might also be able to answer questions, as well as the WordPress.org/supportforum. - Having a Brazilian Hostgator account should not be a problem. You’ll just want to make sure that you’re signed up for your Hostgator website hosting account BEFORE you sign up for Guided Transfer.
Let me know if you have other questions. Cheers!

Hello there!
I’m planning to acquire the guided transfer, but first I want to check if after the transfer was done, you can give me at least a week to install and configure optimize press, and only then you upload the new website (and hide the old one)? Thanks,

Paula,
I’m planning to acquire the guided transfer, but first I want to check if after the transfer was done, you can give me at least a week to install and configure optimize press, and only then you upload the new website (and hide the old one)?
I’ve spoken to our Guided Transfer staff.
Their recommendation is to do the whole transfer, but to keep the site private. Then, you can install and configure OptimizePress. Once that is done, we can help guide you through changing your domain’s (paulatalmelli.com.br) name servers to “point” to your new site. This, will allow the public to view your brand-new, self-hosted site at paulatalmelli.com.br.
After that, you can decide on whether to delete or simply hide your WordPress.com site. We’ll help with that when it’s time!
Once you sign up for Guided Transfer, a member of our staff will contact you, and you can give/get even more details about the smoothest way to do your transfer.
Hope this helps :) Cheers!

Hi there!
I’ve just bought the Guided Transfer, but the message below appears:
“The username/password were not accepted by the host. Please check for any errors and try again.”My hostgator is from Brazil. I’ve asked you about this and you said that should be no problem.
I just copy and past the information I’ve received from hostgator.I can send you the hostgator login and password, but not here, once those messages are public.
Can you help, me please?
Thanks!
