WordPress Integration for existing sites

    Hello WordPress Forums,

    I have 8 websites designed using HTML/CSS/Bootstrap and I would like to change them to WordPress because I want CMS functionality (for staff to update the news and gallery content ) and to avail of the WordPress plugins.

    The sites are simple, one page brochure style sites and I intend to host them on my own local server.

    What is the most suitable WordPress account to subscribe to?

    All the sites use the same theme. Do I create a new theme in WordPress based on this?

    Any advice would be most appreciated.

    Hi Sean,

    The sites are simple, one page brochure style sites and I intend to host them on my own local server.

    This is not possible with our platform. We’re WordPress.com a hosting provider and the sites need to be hosted on our servers.

    If you prefer to host the sites on your own server, then you need to install the WordPress software that can be found here:

    If you decide to host them with us, then the Business plan is the best choice as you mentioned that you’ll be using plugins. You can read more about the features of that plan here:
