WordPress iPad app no longer giving real stats

    Actually, this has been going on for more than a month, but recently the iPad stats tend to be WAY off with the current visitor stats showing far more than there actually are.

    The stats on my iPhone are correct, but not on the iPad.

    I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it without success.

    Any and all help would be appreciated…

    Hi –

    Have you already tried to delete and reinstall the app? It should trigger a sync. Let me know if that helps.

    Sorry, it seems you missed the statement in my OP.

    I have already tried deleting it and reinstalling the WordPress app on my iPad with no improvement!

    My iPhone app works fine, it is just the iPad app that is causing problems.

    Ok. What version number do you have installed on the iPad? Are you able to get to the Help section at all?

    The version number is 13.1

    Thanks. I should’ve asked which type of iPad you’re using too. Are you able to click on Me – Help and Support – Contact Us

    That will send all the behind the scenes details from your app setup in a report to our mobile team.

    I tried what you suggested by going to Me > Help and Support > Contact Us, although when I sent it on my side it looked blank.

    To be on the safe side, here is some info on my iPad:

    * iPad 2017 model MP2H2LL/A

    * 5th Generation

    * iOS v12.41

    Thank you for that information. Could you also grab two screenshots of the stats? One from the iPhone and one from the iPad. Upload them to your Media Library for us to see. Here’s how to take a screenshot:

    I have uploaded four screen shots that I took with my phone. These pics are in my Media Library (iPad. (09-04-2019) and labelled 1-4.

    Also, suddenly the iPad WordPress app seems to be working correctly, although I am not sure for how long.

    This could just be a difference in when the app’s automatically refresh your stats, I’ve seen this myself.

    When the stats screen is up, pull down to manually refresh the stats.

    The next time the problem happens, do it on both the iPhone and iPad at the same time, and the stats should match after the reload.
