    I can’t get into my billing. This site WILL NOT let me deactivate my account. You’re taking money out of my debit card which I cannot remove! I selected a receipt to be sent to me because I can’t access anything and I have not been getting my receipts, in doing so, this site just took another $19.00 from me that I DID NOT HAVE. If I have to cancel my card and get a new number just to stop payments on this account, that’s a joke. I would have never signed up for this site if I knew that there was no way to actually delete an account or get into my billing. This is a site that just steals money and you can’t even contact the people who made it. That’s not “fishy” is it!? I am overly appauled by this and I will never use this again.

    I have. It literally won’t let me look at my transactions at all. I have got no receipts and I am pretty sure I am going in Monday and deactivating my debit card to get a new one so nothing can be made anymore…

    Im not really aware of what to look for as I said im new, but the billing page says if your looking to cancel you should be able to do it from the My upgrades page if thats what you are being charged for…. https://wordpress.com/my-upgrades/

    I have read everything that the word press support and even tried “deleting account” in tools but it still wouldn’t even let me do that because of some “issue” It says I can hide it but can’t delete it. Plus, I can’t email anyone because they say that it’s not a thing right now… I did leave something somewhere besides this at “contact us” on my phone. But other than that I can’t figure out what to do.

    Your problems sound like you are not logged in as the account / user that owns the upgrades you are dealing with –

    Is there another account / user name you might have used to buy the upgrades?

    Hmm not sure if I can help you then. Seems to me an advanced issue. If you can’t cancel whatever they are charging you for from the my upgrades page then you are going to need help from one of their specific support crew or have to do what you said earlier. Either way, hate that you’re having this issue, I hope someone helps you resolve it before you have to take it that far. :/

    The only thing I put into this was the $7 thing to have the website name itself, but that is it. I do/did not want upgrades, they never concerned me. I haven’t used this in over a month because life caught up and got busy so I figured that I would just get rid of it. But now I find out that it’s something that you “can’t get rid of”? Like how you can’t REALLY deactivate a Facebook and I feel that’s like wrong. No one else has used this account but me and it’s the only one.

    Well either way I am going to go deactive my debit and just get a new one because even though it’s only $7 and another $19 that happened like I need that money, everything helps, ya know? I’m not trying to be mean about this, but it’s a serious thing when I don’t want to do something anymore but I am being forced (it seems) to put money into it /:

    I understand your anger, id be pretty irate myself if I couldn’t cancel a charge, hopefully someone from the staff will help you.

    I’m hoping they can cancel it or at least my bank will but if it goes through PayPal I’m not sure if they can do anything so yeah, whatever I guess. Thank you though for your concern.

    There is no such thing as the purchase of a domain name for $7 offered here as an individual upgrade. The domain mapping upgrade purchase prices are listed here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

    The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     I see a custom domain purchase on your account from February when you opened this account, but no charges on your account since then. Are you seeing a more recent charge on your card?
